How long have you been doing Crossfit?  How long have you been at CFHR?  

7 years I think

How did you start Crossfitting? 

A friend convinced me to go – she has since moved away ( military )

What do you enjoy most about Crossfit?  CFHR? 

I love it – I love working out in this type of setting combining cardio with weights – I have also made some friends in the process ! What touched me the most was how genuinely nice everyone is . I’m from NY so …

What is your most favorite movement?  Least favorite? 

MOST favorite – assault bike and power snatch            LEAST favorite – Turkish get-ups

What is your proudest CF moment? 

I actually did a full rope climb once!

What fitness goal are you currently working towards?  Personal goal? 

Double unders – I used to be able to do a few but not anymore / I would love to run a half marathon in under 2 hours. Closest was 2:04  

What do you like to do outside of CF? 

I love my job as a hospital clinical pharmacist . Run various races with friends from 5k’s to half-marathons / hiking / spending time w/ family and friends / traveling with family and friends ( US and abroad )

How you do make working out at CFHR fit into your schedule?

I prefer to work out at the 9:30 class then go to work but it doesn’t always work out that way

What’s your favorite song/artist/type of music you like to hear during a WOD? 

Don’t have a preference but I did grow up in the 80’s

What advice would you offer to a new crossfitter?

Keep coming back and don’t compare yourself to other people. Push yourself but know your limits. You don’t want to get hurt – trust me
